About GORS
The General Organization of Remote Sensing was established in 1986 as a government institution specialized in remote sensing and geographic information systems. GORS operates under the Ministry of Communications and Technology and works to provide remote sensing services and products to support sustainable development in Syria.
GORS has specialized staff and laboratories equipped with the latest technologies for processing and analyzing satellite images and producing digital maps. The organization also provides training and technical consulting services in remote sensing.
